HOOVER, AL (July 27, 2026) -
Scarlett Schremmer captured the 99th LNGA Amateur Championship with closing with a 3-under 69 to win by one stroke. After building her overnight lead to three shots through 10 holes, Schremmer saw the margin shrink to one heading to the par-5 18th, where she settled the championship with an approach to three feet and a clinching birdie. The Miami Hurricane from Birmingham, Alabama has played consistently througout the Elite Amateur Golf Series finishing 5th at the Sea Island Women's Amateur and 5th at the Southwestern Amateur. Schremmer also captured the Women's Southern Amateur title last month.

Amateur Championship: “I've been very close three times, and this was the fourth, so it was really nice. I kind of battled through the nerves to get the first one out of the way." This victory moves her to first place in Women's Elite Amateur Cup Standings when WAGR officially updates later this week.
