Parker Sands may be a Florida Gator, but he calls Edmond, Oklahoma home. Winning the Trans-Miss Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa serves as his largest victory to date. The Gator held off his friend and OU Sooner, Ryder Cowan, to claim victory by a two stroke margin. Winning at Southern Hills CC, Sands adds his name to a historic list of winners of the Trans-Miss Amateur and those who have won on this historic Perry Maxwell design.
