HOOVER, AL (June 1, 2026) - University of Georgia freshman, Trinity Beth, captured the sixth edition of the Sea Island Women’s Amateur, posting rounds of 69-67-73 to finish at 7-under 209 and secure a two-shot victory on St. Simons Island, Ga.
Beth entered the final round with a comfortable cushion after opening with back-to-back rounds in the 60s. Her 8-under 136 total through 36 holes gave her a two-shot lead, and while the final-round 73 wasn’t her sharpest performance of the week, she never allowed the chasing pack to seriously threaten her position.
The Calvert City, Ky., native finished ahead of a trio of players tied for second at 5-under 211: Stetson sophomore Isaki Sakashita of Japan (70-72-69), Texas graduate Bentley Cotton (75-65-71), and UTSA alum Morgan Ellison (69-69-73). Ellison began the final round just two shots behind Beth but was unable to make up ground after matching Beth with a closing 73.
