HOOVER, AL (June 21, 2026) - Grant Roscich made 14 birdies over the final 36 holes at the 2026 Sunnehanna Amateur, but none more important than the final hole to claim the title by one stroke. Shortened to 54-holes due to weather, Roscich’s closing birdie allowed him to claim victory over Jake Birdwell and Gabriel Palacios
Roscich was one of six players to shoot in the 60s all three rounds, but he led wire-to-wire in the first Elite Amateur Series event of the summer. As a sophomore at North Carolina, he finished the year ranked 94th in the NCAA golf rankings and had a best finish of second in the Tar Heel Intercollegiate.
